The Meaning of Trailblazers

Trailblazer: One that blazes a trail to guide others, a path finder and a way maker.

Christ followers are meant to be guide for others in this world. In the Matthew 5:14 Jesus said "You are the light of the word". Light guides. So the name Trailblazers was birth out of the vision that God gave to Pastor Emmanuel Favor of – a people who would influence society by demonstrating the character and principles of the Kingdom of God.

The trail: This is symbolic of "the path of the just" which according to scripture is an ever shinning path. "But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day" (Proverbs 4:18).

 

The Rising Sun:

The sun is symbolic of the glory of God that is revealed in the world through the church. "But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings" (Malachi 4:2).

Gold:

In scriptures God represents the divine nature of God; which in now in us through Christ "by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature…" (2 Peter 1:4).

Purple:

Purple is a symbol of royalty, which is our new estate in Christ. "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood…" (1 Peter 2:9).

White:

Is symbolic of our purity and righteousness in Christ. "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21).

The rays are 12 in number and they represent the twelve core values of our ministry.
